Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. She was the sole daughter to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she was sixteen. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was both critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra worked on several notable national and international projects over the years. These projects comprise British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Her other roles include being an official jury member for two festivals: the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
